Regal Earned the 2006 ABCR National Champion Performance Horse and in 2007 achieveD Reserve Champion in just ½ season of showing, having scored more points in open and breed competition (cumulatively) than any other Bashkir Curly in the nation. Regal is an 9 year old gelding out of our foundation mare, Silver Red Ebony. Even crossed with gaited lines Regal retained her hard gaits, natural collected cadence, and uphill movement. He always turns heads and invites comments from judges not only for his coat but movement and ability. Regal's bloodlines can be traced back all the way to Figure (aka Justin Morgan)!

Graduating from rail classes, Regal and I are beginning to compete in dressage. After a late 2007 season earning several champions and reserve champions in training level, we are spending the 2008 season training to make our first level debut in the fall.
We're especially proud because Regal has never had professional training. Since I bought him as a young horse we have spent countless hours in lessons, clinics, and of course riding for fun- but I've only used coaches who would train him through me. The progress he has made in spite of this novice rider is what makes me especially proud of this amazing horse.

After buying Regal in April of 2005, we tracked down his dam
in Vermont and made an offer without even seeing photos! She stepped off the trailer after her trip to Missouri and we were delighted to find she exceeded our high expectations!
Ebony passes on to her foals three fantastic gaits, natural uphill collection, and what can only be called "presence". Ebony is trained to ride but is currently a full time mother.
Ebony is a National Champion producing mare.
Ebony foaled a 2007 filly by Okie J Red's Buddy and a 2008 filly by Canadian ABC Stallion Kinyobi. Ebony will be bred to champion producing Hawk's Midnight Shadow for her next foal.
Ebony is not for sale.

Ebony delivered a beautiful filly on July 5th, 2007! We're so excited about this addition to our farm. See below for more information about "Noble Debutante"

"Bazy" comes to us from Al Marah/Bazy Tankersly's curly breeding program. She is half-Arabian and registered as a foundation Bashkir Curly mare. Refined and athletic with a curious sensibility, she is already a loved member of our farm.
We just couldn't have asked for a nicer foal for our debut into breeding! Deb is out of our National Champion producing mare Silver Red Ebony, and sired by National Champion producing stallion Okie J Red's Buddy. Look for Deb showing in hand towards the ABCR In Hand National Championship in 2008!
We were delighted to see Ebony outdo herself on her 2008 foal! Ivy joined our herd on June 15, 2008. Ivy is out of our National Champion producing mare Silver Red Ebony, and sired by Canadian ABC stallion Y.S. Kinyobi.
Kawai is the most recent addition to our farm. Kawai was imported from Canada in late 2007 and will be promoted and shown in preparation to replace one of our older broodmares when they are retired.
